This Fall, we’re diving deep into THE SERVANT KING! A study in the book of Isaiah that points us to Jesus! Life Groups are the heartbeat of our church family—gatherings where we:

Reach out in love to welcome others
Teach one another through God’s Word
Mend through prayer and care in community
Send one another to live out our faith in everyday life

Groups meet weekly in homes, coffee shops, and other creative spaces between Sundays and Saturdays. Each group will follow along with our midweek preaching series, and checkweekly guides will be available every Friday so you can be ready to grow together.

Even if you can’t join a Life Group this season, you can still stay connected by attending a midweek service to receive the weekly teaching.

As we begin a new year, we are entering 21 days of fasting to seek God with humility, hunger, and expectancy. Throughout Scripture—and throughout the Wesleyan movement—fasting has been practiced as a means of grace: a Spirit-given way to deepen our communion with God and align our hearts with His mission.

Why We Fast
We fast not to earn God’s favor, but to open ourselves to His forming, refining, and empowering grace. This year, we’re asking God for:

• Deeper holiness and wisdom in us.
• Salvation, healing, and transformation around us.

Fresh movement of the Holy Spirit through us for the sake of the world.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• Pray and choose a sacrificial fast.
• Commit to the full 21 days.
• Share your commitment with a friend for support and accountability.
• Follow the daily Scriptures & video devotionals on the app or at llcf.org/fast.
• Pray each week into the spiritual focus God leads us toward.

Building for the Future is a two-year initiative inviting you to prayerfully and generously invest in our church’s future as we continue to reach, teach, mend, and send.

Expand Our Reach | Our church is reaching and teaching more people than ever with over 1,300 weekly people on campus. Our nursery, children and youth ministries are at capacity and need a dedicated space to grow in their faith.

Grow Our Sending | Our church is mending broken lives through spiritual and physical services, like feeding more than 1,000 people weekly and revitalizing and planting churches and leaders. God has used and grown Light & Life for the last 70 years to flow healing into our community and beyond.
