Our vision to start a Light & Life Church in each of the 9 City Council Districts of Long Beach by the year 2010.
Our vision to change a city for Christ through community-based churches working together to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of people.
Our vision to empower new pastors, ministers, leaders, and workers that start and build new works for God in each city council district.
Where Did We Get the Name?
We take the Mission's name from what we believe God wants us to give our prayers and energy to in the coming decade.
We also take it from Acts 20:10 where a young man is laying dead in the city streets but Paul gets down in the gutter with him and proclaims life to him in Jesus name! |
