Multiplying Churches to Reach the Harvest

Light and Life is not seeking to become a MEGA-Church with a crowd attending our one location. We are seeking to become a movement of churches that starts new churches in and around Long Beach, throughout America, and around the world. We start churches wherever God opens the doors for churches to start. 

In the U.S. Light & Life has planted or assisted in the development of:  Light & Life Belmont in Long Beach, Luz Y Vida in Long Beach, Cornerstone in Cerritos, Storehouse Church in Philadelphia, Light & Life Oahu in Oahu, Cristiana Communidad in Azusa, Light & Life West in Long Beach, The River Church in Long Beach, Light & Life Downey in Downey, CA; The Light in Signal Hill;  

In the world Light & Life has helped plant 7 churches in the Jimma and Beta Genet area of Ethiopia, and is currently helping three new churches start in the Philippines.

Our model of church planting varies to meet the unique situations that the Spirit presents to us. In our local church plants we generally raise up a leader, gather a core group of 30 to 150 people around that leader, and then launch them with finances and prayers to begin a new work.
