Global Thinking

Light & Life is committed to obey Jesus command in Acts 1:8 "You shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the world". Glocal means we minister in our local backyard and around the globe.

Besides our local missions to the poor and the homeless we reach out the lost in places that have never heard the good news of Jesus' love.

Mexico - Each year we send a team or two to Mexico to minister God's love through building homes, classrooms, and churches.  

Ethiopia- We have been used by God to start 7 churches in the Jimma and Beta Genet of Ethiopia. In addition we have started a school that helps break the cyle of poverty.

Philippines - With Pastor Ralph and Joji Silo, members of our church who have started a network of churches in the Bicol Region of the Philippines, we are committed to starting churches and ministries.

Thailand - We support Don and Kathy Williams who are overseeing a school ministering to hundreds of mission kids and to their families.

Asia- International Evangelists, Keith and Juile Winslow are doing a tremendous work for Christ in a difficult, but exciting ministry area.  

Japan - We have recently sent a missions team to bring God's love to Japan. This is a developing field for us.

Heavenly Treasures - We support Kathy Galton and her work in helping indigenous people in different countries start small businesses of creating goods that will sell in America.

Kenya - We support Benard Onedik's work in the Kisumu area of Kenya. This includes church planting, two orphanages and two schools.

Kalimantan, Indonesia - We are in partnership with City of Praise in church planting, orphanage, K-8th school and micro-industry.  Visit www.copdeva.org for more info on this work.
