Our Services are Celebrations!
Every Sunday at 9am, 10:30am & Noon the Light & Life family gathers to celebrate Jesus. We treat God like He is REAL and PRESENT and POWERFUL. We expect and receive miracles happening during our celebration services. Attire: Shorts and sandals or Suit and Ties...whatever you are comfortable in and whatever you like to worship God in. Services Length: Usually 75 to 90 minutes...but we aren't a bunch of clock watchers. We want the Holy Spirit to lead. Service Style: Our services combine about 30 minutes of an excellent band that rocks the house with quiet times of reflection and prayer. Communion is served most weeks. We often have an artistic expression of worship like a dance, drama, art, poetry, video clip or special song. Next a 35 minute Bible teaching that is is filled with substance, stories, and real life application. A response including a call to salvation (in case you brought unsaved friends), worship in giving, some announcements, and a little laughter. Hispanic Venue: Norte, our Spanish speaking with enough English for the bilingual to enjoy it, happens Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the Community Center. HALOGEN: Sundays at 6pm...this artsy and creative service, heavy with Biblical content and worship is a multi-generational service with an emphasis on reaching the emerging generation. Pastor Izzy shares the Word after a more rock driven band hit worship hard. |

At LLCF children are the church of today and the leaders of tomorrow! Therefore, we give our best to minister to our children effectively. Liz Tate, and her team of trained volunteers help your child feel comfortable as they become disciples who follow Jesus in their age appropriate manner.
During our worship celebrations children spend their time at our wonderful CHILDREN'S CENTER worshipping, praying for each other, doing arts and crafts, learning Bible lessons, and playing games. Infants and Toddlers have a crystal clean and safe environment to experience God's love for them in our Nursery. Our nursery team is led by Diane Ruhlen. Our Nursery is a place where the littlest ones learn about Jesus. Ages 4 to 5 are in the Rising Stars. Ages 1st to 4th grade are in the All Stars Ages 5th and 6th are in Club 56 One Sunday a month children join their parents in service for Family Sunday. Children worship with their parents, are told a story by the Pastor, and are prayed for by the church before being dismissed during the teaching time. In addition our Children's Ministry holds frequent special events such as Kids Camps, Vacation Bible School, Serve Day, Make A Difference Day, Outings, A Harvest Party, and much more. Your child needs to KNOW Jesus well...we want to partner with you so that your child reaches for their God-given destiny! Greetings from Fusion, God has a very special place in His heart for TEENS and so do we. We believe church should be a place for students in Jr. High and High School to be real, safe, fun, and life-changing. FUSION Ministries is our attempt to meet teens where they are with God's truth. 9AM, 11AM, and 6PM students are integrated into the LLCF church life. Get involved by serving on Sunday mornings. Look for our informational table on the patio before and after both Sunday services. Don't forget our own special ti me to hang out and learn and laugh and grow on Tuesday nights, 7pm in the Ministry Center. Meet other junior high and high school students from the area. We also have multiple small groups you, as a student, can join. There you will get to know a few students better, and begin to experience life as community...just like Jesus did! For more information, contact the Fusion office: 562-630-6074 x201 |

old truth, new style Halogen, 6pm, Worship Center, Sundays. Come experience this creative service that includes the latest sounds in Christian worship music with a high quality band, an artistic flair, a deep Bible teaching, intimate communion, and authentic, real people waiting to meet you. Teachers include- Pastor Izzy Matos and Pastor Larry Walkemeyer. Halogen's Mission 5 Core Values Word – We understand the Bible to be God’s Word and witness to God’s interaction with humankind. The Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments (the accepted canon of Holy Scripture) is God’s eternal, inspired, infallible message in its entirety; and is the supreme standard and final authority for all conduct, faith, and doctrine. Worship – Worship involves both physical and spiritual participation of God’s people. To worship God means offering our lives as living sacrifices to God and offering our heart as God’s home. We must have a genuine attitude that produces genuine works of love. Without an attitude of worship, our physical actions are meaningless, and without our physical actions, our attitude is limited to mere feelings. Prayer – Prayer is a conversation within the context of a relationship between God and us. God knows us intimately and we are invited to know God intimately through Christ. As a result, we are invited to pray and daily converse with God. Prayer includes supplication, intercession, confession, lamentation, praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and listening. Fellowship – For Christians to live in authentic fellowship, they must live like brothers and sisters who actively take part in one another’s lives. Fellowship includes teaching and learning from one another, admonishing and encouraging one another, and serving one another through our gifts for the glory of God. We spend quality time loving one another and building one another up to be more like Christ. Evangelism – Jesus did not stay on a hill for people to come to him. He was responsive to the needs of people. Furthermore, Jesus was active and present in the lives of people. Jesus was sent from the high position of heaven to live a poor life on earth and proclaim the Good News of salvation. In the same way, our Halogen church family understands our call to go unto the world and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pastor Izzy Carlos - Worship Leader
